A force to come....

It has become clear that nobody knows what to expect for the Bengals this year. Sadly they have dropped some key players to our offense and defense. We can't be quite sure if it strategic, or down right stupid. I believe somewhere between the good ol' days of football, to now the NFL has lost track of what is important. Too much has been centered around money. Rather then the integrity and sometimes legacy of the player. What ever happened to the team? It was a sad day to Bengals fans when Rudi Johnson had to be let go. While I wish Rudi all the best, the team just won't be the same without him. Rudi Johnson was one of the key members who dug the bengals out of the whole, and led them to the best season in a long long time. Sometimes I just can't believe how one team with more talent than anyone in the NFL could struggle as much as them. However, with two preseason wins we must look to the future, and build the team that we already have. So while some moves do not seem to make coherent sense, I trust Marvin Lewis more than I trust any coach in this league. As we look to the begining of the season we need Carson Palmer to stay consistant, and be the Carson of the past. While looking forward to Chad Johnson, getting those touchdowns that he so loves. And the celebrations that all NFL fans gets a kick out of. TJ Houzhmandzadeh has always been the steady hand we lean on. And we shall see how long Chris Perry stays out of jail this time around. As long as the defense does their part, the Bengals will be a force to be reckoned with in 2008.
