And people say Cincinnati is know for having Convicts...and bad news for our running game

Welcome to Detroit Rudi Johnson...

SI.com reports "[Newly signed Lions running back Rudi] Johnson left his bags outside CEO Matt Millen's office while he met with team officials and, ultimately, worked out a deal with the team. So when Johnson came back to get his bags, they were nowhere to be found. Johnson and Millen were stumped. Enter the eye in the sky. The team checked the videotapes generated by the team's in-house surveillance system, and they quickly identified the culprit. So who might it have been? None other than Tatum Bell, who lost his gig with the Lions after Rudi arrived."

OK, so hopefully this takes a little heat off of the bengals for taking Chris Henry back (I still can't believe we're that stupid).  Honestly who is dumb enough to pull a move off like this, not knowing there are video cameras everywhere now a days.

On a side note: It is nice to know that Detroit seems to be the place for our washed out offensive starters to retire(ie. Jon Kitna and Rudi Johnson)

UPDATE

More on the phenomenal Rudi Johnson-Tatum Bell story, courtesy of the AP:

"The empty bags were returned Tuesday evening, but Johnson said he is still missing $200, his ID, credit cards and clothes. Johnson said he had spoken with Bell and did not plan to involve the police."

WOW is all I can say

On a less funny/ sad note... Starting Fullback and what looked to be the best run blocker on the whole Bengals Offense, Jeremi Johnson is out for the season.  It looks like we've found a replacement in Hawaii and Miami Dolphins Fullback Maui'a.  It seems the season looks worse and worse as the days go by.  First we have no offensive line, then no proven running back, then we release our only proven running back/ pro-bowl tackle, and no our run blocking fullback is out.  I can only guess that Chris Perry is scared sh*tless right now and figures he'll be out with an injury during the first game, thanks the a great Raven's defense.
