Over the past three years of freelance writing, wherever I go, and whatever subject I am covering, I do some form of my personal column called 'Ramble On'. This is a loose collection of random thoughts and rhetorical questions. Here's this week's edition--Bengals style.
--Don't jump on the bandwagon about the Bengals defense looking better in recent weeks. The only teams the unit has stopped this year have been the Ravens twice, the Jets, the Rams and the Titans. Notice a trend?
--When did Carson Palmer become possessed by the spirit of Rex Grossman? He looks worse now than any time since his rookie season.
--What did the Falcons do to tick the football gods off this season anyway?
--So, Bengals fans, do you think Bobby Petrino needs a defensive coordinator in Arkansas? I'd be fine to see Bresnahan leave with three games left in the season.
--How happy do you think the NFL is to have that dog Bengals/49ers game on its network on the worst television night of the week?
--Want to throw a shout out to my peeps at www.bengalszone.com, the first fansite to post my writings and ramblings.
--No matter how mad you get at Roger Goodell and the referees for favoring the Patriots, just be thankful the NFL isn't Major League Baseball.
--I mean, can you imagine the stir if the 'greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL'--whomever you consider that to be--was caught up in a steroids scandal? Nice work, 'Rocket'.
--What would we do without the internet, anyway?
Till next week, my minions, keep reading and ramble on.
