You may have noticed the small icons at the bottom of your blog posts linking to MySpace, Facebook, Digg, Stumble Upon and other social media websites.  These icons allow you to quickly link your blog post to these sites.  You should be using these links a lot.  Submitting to social media sites is free and easy and can really increase the traffic to your blog.  Consistently using them is the easiest way to build a following and increase your traffic.
Using the Facebook and MySpace links:
Assuming you have an account on MySpace or Facebook (it's free to join so if you don't sign up now) click on the icon below your blog post for the site you want to submit to.  It will take you to a submission page where you simply put in a brief description about your blog post.  Then, a link to your blog post will appear on your Facebook or MySpace profile. It's that easy.  If you have a large following on either of these sites it's an easy way to get people to your sports blog.  So make sure you submit links to your best sports blog posts.

Lets start with the atlanta falcons matt ryan premiere. The first pass he threw was for a touchdown amazing. Then Michael Turner just spun off 220 yds on the ground to make a new falcons rushing record a great season starter for the falcons. They win over the lions 34-21

The Patriots Tom Brady got hurt this week that is not a good start. But they still won with sam cassel coming onto the game throwing a touchdown. Winning the game 17-10 over the cheifs.

Finally what we all been waiting for Bret Favre in a Jets uniform. He had a great game throwing two great bombs for touchdowns. Also O think Chad pennington will do well for the dolphins it all works out. Jets won 20-14

The Eagles had a very impressive win over the rams winning 38-3. Donavan Mcnab Brian Westbrook, and Desaun Jackson had tremendous games just going up and down the field on them .A great start from last year.

THe game of the week in my opinion was florida vs miami because of the hype. Anyway the game went like this Florida stormed and scored the 1st drive so i thought it was over. But then Miami scored a field goal and went on a rampage on tim tebow in the first half it looked like tim was a little scared of the rush. Then in the second half it ws all gators from there on they just went staight gator on them and, tim tebow got them two more scoring drives making the score 23 to 3. A very impressive win for the Gators while the hurricanes just look stupid just running there mouths before the game saying were going to do this and do that, to bad for them.

This week some of the better teams in the SEC (georgia, alabama, and auburn) played some sorry teams. All of them just killed who they were playing just running it down there throates burning the DBs smothering with here defences just horrible if your the other team. Well i geuss they need all the pratice they can get with there hard schedules espceailly Georgia they have to play all the teams inside the sec east. Have a nice time with that georgia.

The week started off with an upset, ucla beat tennesse 27-24ot. I was flabergasted, a team that had to start a third string quaterback ,a new coach and still beat the 18th team in the country wow. But the best thing about it is that the pac 10 can stand up to the sec. A great win to start off the year for the bruins and the pac 10.

Other notable things that hapenned were that washingrton lost on a controveratal call bye the  stupid refs about celebration penalty that lot washington the game to BYU 28-27. Thats just unforgiveable let the kids play.

And the good teams in the pac ten won the sorry teams lost yada yada yada that was what i thought of this week of the pac 10.

A big thanks to everyone who participated in the "Inbound Link Contest".  We have a winner!  A big congratulations go out to Marija.  Thank you for all your hard work on this.  While we had a lot of people participate, Marija was able to win with only 4 links!  So it wouldn't have taken a lot to win this contest!  We'll be having another contest soon so stay tuned.

The whole purpose of this contest was to get our bloggers networking with other webmasters and to start to build up their inbound links which will help their traffic.  Even a few links can help you with the search engines as they will see you as more of an authority on your topic the more inbound links you have.
