So Mr. Ocho Cinco has reverted to opening his mouth and letting it run wild.  He even threatened to retire and take over the jobs of the sports anchors if they bad-mouth him.  Also, during his rant, Chad let the world know that he would be kissing the star in Dallas this week after he scores the touchdown he predicted.  My question for Chad is, didn't T.O. as a 49er and an Eagle do the "star celebrations"?  I don't think the celebration he has planned is all that good, BUT I am glad that he's running his mouth.  He has 11 catches for 116 yards and one touchdown this season through 4 games.  The quiet Chad has been playing quietly.  He has always said that there is a direct correlation between the amount of talking he does off the field and the a

Looking forward to this weekend's game between Ohio State and Wisconsin, I'm trying to figure out how this game will go.  Then I look at the ugly, putrid 2nd half the Badgers played against Michigan.   This causes me to have a sigh of relief.  The Pryor-led Buckeyes look to be as potent of an offense as there is in the Big Ten, giving problems to Wisconsin, who had trouble containing the turnover happy Wolverine offense.  I know that game was at the Big House and this game is at Camp Randal Stadium, but come on.  The Badger offense looks inconsistent at best.  P.J. Hill should be one of the top three stud backs in the conference (3rd to Beanie Wells and Javon Ringer), yet he has had problems. Plus Adam Evridge has not looked very good without Travis

How bad can this season get for Bengals fans? It's bad enough that no one respects the boys in stripes, but what else is new?  No, the new low came this past Sunday when the equally dissed and abismal Browns came into our house and beat us 20-12.  Now, granted, the Defense of Cincinnati played well most of the game, but the ugly sea monster known as the offensive line reared its head again this week.  They could not protect Ryan Fitzpatrick nor could they open up many running lanes for Chris Perry.  This brings me to my point for this article: why did we waste a bunch of money by signing Cedric Benson this week?

Granted, Benson is a good back.  He had some great production in Chicago's physical system.  That team had (and still does not have) a quarterback, so Benson was used profusely.  Two alcohol-related charges later, the former top 5 draft pick is unemployed.  Apparently, Cincinnati thought he was a good option to bring in due to the recent dismissal of DeDe Dorsey to the IR for the year.  Now, Cincinnati does need to bring in a new running back, as Kenny Watson might not play this week and Chris Perry is hurt too.  They passed on Shaun Alexander probably due to his age.  The problem with this is that Cedric Benson does not play offensive line.  The offensive line is pretty vital to having a good running game.  That's what we had in 2005 when we won the division, and that is what Benson enjoyed in Chicago.  Our offensive line has been offensively lacking this year, and the addition of a new running back will not be the answer Bengals fans are looking for.
