Ravens

10 October 2008

Each week, on Friday, I will look into my (never wrong, just misinformed) crystal ball and give my predictions for that weekend games.  I will always prognosticate on the Eagles and Cowboys games and then pick two more games of interest (to me, that is, not necessarily to you).  Keep in mind, that this is for entertainment purposes only, and that I do not endorse any sort of legal or illegal gambling.  That being said…let’s see what’s in my crystal ball!

While last week I went 10 for 16 (honestly who saw the Dolphins beating the patriots with or without Brady), I am only 22 for 45 on the season.  So I may be no Nostrodomus but each week I seem to be getting better and better at these projections, so lets see what I can do this week…

saw the effect of your player’s despicable actions, gouging, scratching, kicking our precious Ravens. That’s right so you are having a bad year.. Fix it, don’t take it out on a better opponent. McGahee’s eye looks like Crennel’s face bloated, worrisome and disgusting. I can’t wait to see you guys again, there will be blood!”

AFC North Predictions

This is a Bengals blog so of course I'm going to pick the Bengals over the Titans, hoping that we can get our act together.  Plus Marvin stated we'd go undefeated at home, so lets see what he knows...

Carson had to run around constantly afraid he would get his head knocked off by a very experienced Ravens defense, which lead to many horrible passes/ dropped balls, bad plays in general.  We need to do something about this line which has made me realize/ hope we take an offensive lineman in one of the first 2 rounds of the draft next year.

AFC North Predictions

Bengals over Ravens -Ed Reed is out, therefore Carson Palmer can simply air it out all day while we can see what Chris Perry can do on the ground. I just don’t believe Joe Flacco can get it done against our defense.

er for the Bengals all preseason, which is a good sign of things to come.

Well the game verse the Ravens Sunday will look/ be even better now that they have acquired Willie Anderson.  While it is probably too late in the week for him to master the playbook and actually get in the game, if he did I think it would be great to see Robert Geathers face off against him.  Willie will be the 2nd most decorated offensive lineman in

It turns out he has face Ravens starting QB Joe Flacco before and had 4 pass defenses against him in the last game of the season for both teams last year. Therefore he could end a college caree

It appears that Joe Flacco has been named the starter against the Bengals.  This could be a great sign for the first game.  I was a little apprehensive if Troy Smith got the start simply due to the fact that he is quite mobile and we simply don't have the experience linebackers to chase him around.  Yet by some luck he still has a viral infection so we may have a chance at taking a run at their rookie.  Although it would be nice to see an OSU boy play...
